AMP has appointed Andrea Slattery as a non-executive director. Slattery has 26 years of experience in financial services and is currently a non-executive director at Clean Energy Finance Corporation, Argo Global Listed Infrastructure and the South Australia Cricket Association. She established and led the SMSF Association.
IPO Wealth has appointed Ewan Laughlin as chief executive officer. He has 28 years’ experience in financial services across institutional banking and corporate finance and will be responsible for IPO Wealth’s next phase of growth.
Pioneer Credit has announced the resignation of its chief operating officer Lisa Stedman, with effect in July. Since commencing the position in 2011, Lisa’s key achievements include growing the headcount from 40 people to over 600 and building a strong relationship with vendor partners.
QIC has appointed Michael O’Brien as the managing director of global real estate. He has held senior investment and operational roles with Vicinity Centres, GPT Group and Lend Lease Corporation. The appointment fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Steve Leigh.
KPMG has appointed Matthew Woods as Western Australian state chair. He will be responsible for leading KPMG operations in the WA market and will continue to lead the restructuring services business nationally. Woods will assume the position from Gary Smith, who is moving into a special advisor role on the delivery of Indigenous services.

Fund manager Fidelity International Australia has appointed Anthony Doyle to the newly created position of investment specialist in Sydney. Doyle is joining Fidelity from UK based firm M&G Investments and has over 16 experience in investments. He will be responsible in assisting position Fidelity’s broad investment capabilities, strategy, markets views and performance to clients.

It has appointed Amanda Field as its new head of business development for domestic institutional conferences. Elizabeth Fry has joined as senior journalist writing for Investment Magazine. George Dagas and Thelis Moral-Abad have been appointed as business development managers for Professional Planner, an online and print publication for financial advisers. Sean Finn has joined as a business development manager for Investment Magazine.
Bell Asset Management has appointed two new relationship managers. Amanda Macdonald has over 10 years’ experience in financial services, having worked for Pendal and JP Morgan amongst others. James Archer officially started his role last year and has had five years’ experience in funds management. They will be responsible for strengthening institutional and wholesale distribution capabilities.
